Music Updates 2011
CDVEC Showcase Concert
This year we are hoping to build on the very successful concert we had in 2010 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the SCC. We have planned a major CDVEC Showcase concert for the evening of Wednesday 28th March 2012. We have booked the Theatre Space in the Helix, and hope that we can highlight as many of our young performers as possible. Only participants in our SCC Music programme will be considered however.
Music and Art workshops
An imaginative programme of creative work in music and art devised by Mona McMahon and Brian Quinn. Suitable for many students, including Art and adult classes. For more information please contact Mona at the Music centre (623 9187)
Fancy a jam??!!!
If you have aspiring young rockers who would like to jam, either in your own school or with other CDVEC musicians, please contact me at 623 9187. We have PA, musicians and lots of ideas (short of emulating The Who!).
