Larkin, led by their captain Kurt Raggas who also received the MVP, Moses Okowagd, Cebisi Malanga and Kyle Hayden proved too strong for St Kevin’s College to win 16-2 in the minor boys final.

The champions avenue school then won a remarkable fifth consecutive junior title. Tinashe Nyaude’s 12 points tally alongside key players Mark Szeder, Andrei Sevenei and Dario Estevez won 29-11 against Kylemore College.

The MVP went to Nathan Cramp of Kylemore College who hit a massive three pointer; Cramp’s colleague Jake Kelly put six points up on the scoreboard for the Ballyfermot college.

Larkin sealed their clean sweep with an impressive 31-19 victory over Marino College in the intermediate final. Stand out performances came from John Lamoste, Jiahui Ren and Andrezej Bobko. Marino College’s Julian Voiniciuc claimed the MVP for his strong performance for the Fairview college.

Marino College denied Larkin Community College their fourth consecutive minor title with a gusty performance in a very close minor girls final which the Fairview college narrowly won by 8-6.

With the game tied 6-6 Florina Tinca stepped up to hit the winning score for Marino. Mia Fiona Manuel was duly awarded the MVP accolade on the back a fine showing for the Fairview school.

Larkin’s junior girls team lifted their school’s fourth piece of silverware of the day with a super showing in their 30-4 win against Kylemore College in the junior final.

Larkin’s captain Maja Miedziejo was duly awarded the MVP. Alicia Sadic contributed 12 points along with solid defensive play from Amraan Maxamaad and Samantha Kerrigan to retain the title. Kylemore’s scores came from Lauren Joyce and Caitlin Wade.

Presentation College, Terenure secured a remarkable 3-in-row by seeing off Larkin Community College 17-8 in the intermediate girls decider.

Pres’ Amy Fitzgerald claimed the MVP; Darcey Behan was excellent under the basket and their captain Yasmin Larguat and Elizabeth Manning were solid in their overall play.

Oktawia Plesik found the target for Larkin. Larkin cut the deficit to 6-11 with back to back baskets from Juli Bayarsaikh.

The Terenure college responded with excellent scores from their captain Larguat and Fitzgerald to put the game beyond their opponents to lift the intermediate Shield for the third year in a row.
