The girls’ final sees Colaiste Dhulaigh and Presentation Terenure battle it out for the silverware. Dhualaigh took full advantage on their home turf beating Marino College 10-2 prior to star player Shauna Lyndon hitting three outstanding three point plays in their win 19-4 win against Colaiste Eoin.
Presentation Terenure reached the final courtesy of Kylemore College’s two point victory over Larkin Community College and a greater overall points tally.
Terenure had earlier beaten Kylemore 15-2 with Asma Nassir inspirational throughout but their defeat to Larkin left Presentation willing Kylemore on in the final group game against Larkin.
The Ballyfermot College pulled out all the stops to beat a much fancied Larkin team in overtime.
