SCC Battle of the Bands

On Wednesday, February 9, we had the 6th annual SCC 2nd level Battle of the Bands/Talent competition in Kylemore College. Though numbers were slightly down on previous years, the standard was the highest ever. Congratulations to the overall winner, David Core Hughes (Larkin College).

Other prize winners were Stacey Farrell, Rebecca Martin and Kate Finn (Margaret Aylward) (Gold Category award), Nicole Bui Thi (Ringsend-Silver), Robert Kilpatrick and Jessica Curley (Kylemore-Silver) and Laura Greene, Aishling Brady and Rebecca Kirwan (Colaiste Dhulaigh-Bronze). Thanks to Alan Kelly and his PLC Music Performance class (Kylemore). Thanks also to our judge, the very supportive Danny Kenny (Plunket).
