SCC Battle of the Bands

1st Annual Music Showcase!

On Wednesday April 26th, Kylemore College hosted the first ever SCC music event for 2nd level CDVEC schools and for a first event it was very well supported with a total of 17 acts from 6 schools taking part. There were also special guests representing the PLC departments of Kylemore College and BCFE. Performances ranged from solo to group, instrumental to vocal and covered many styles from the classical violin of Laura Treston to the Irish dance steps of Kelly Rock. What a boost for SCC cultural events in CDVEC schools and everyone agreed on the day that this event would continue to capture the enthusiasm of young performers and hopefully become an annual fixture.
